Hello folks and welcome to the Night Angel's White Winter Sight Hound Specialty Show!

********************************************************************************

:bulletred:Rules :bulletred:

*There will be no tracing, no free line art, or any re-use of images or lineart for this show. It all needs to be new entries and either lines from yourself or commissioned lines by others!

*Photo manipulation is not allowed for backgrounds or anything else in this show.

*The entries need to follow the descriptions for the events! There will be points docked, and possibly the entry disqualified or rejected if it doesn't meet the qualifications stated!

*Every entry MUST be Full body!

*No arguing with the judges! If a certain color isn't allowed in Conformation, respect the decision. If you feel that something wasn't judged properly, you can ask for a 2nd opinion or a reasoning for why your entry was placed the way it was. If a judge feels "harassed" or mistreated, your entry may be subject to disqualification.

The Event Descriptions

:bulletblack: Day One :bulletblack:

:bulletpurple: Conformation :bulletpurple:

Conformation will be held indoors in the arena for the sake of our short-coated hounds! The event will begin at 1:00, after the luncheon for all the participants. Dogs will be presented on a dark red carpet in the show ring. Only black thin show leads will be allowed in this event, to give the judges a better look at the hounds. Surrounding the ring are stanchion posts (Black bases, red rope) with red and green Christmas lights wrapped around them. Black "stadium chairs" are in rows 8 feet away from the stanchion posts.

For the main entry, dogs need to be either stacked or gaiting within the ring.

Extra Points/Pictures Available:
Story(Up to 3 points)- At least 300 words are needed and it needs to be on topic and describe the event.
Judge Examination(Up to 5 points)- An extra picture of a judge looking at the dog's teeth or other conditions
Handler (Up to 3 points)- Need to be able to see most of the handler.

:bulletblue: Night Hunting :bulletblue:

Night Hunting will of course be held outdoors in fenced off areas of the forest behind the Arena. The event will begin at about 8Pm when the sun has already set. Dogs will be provided with bright green jackets and collars that have a blue light attached, and can either be on or off leash. Target animals are Red foxes that are owned by NAK. Dogs will either need to be muzzled or owners will need to sign a waiver. There will be snow on the ground (about 3 inches) and on the trees. Every other fencepost, has a light attached.

For the main entry, dogs need to be in their jackets, collars, & muzzles (Unless you sign a waiver which MUST be included in the description) and either smelling/tracking in the forest or already running after one of the foxes.

Extra Points/Pictures Available:
Story(Up to 3 points)- At least 300 words are needed and it needs to be on topic and describe the event.
Animal(Up to 5 points)- If the fox is shown either running or hiding in the picture.

:bulletwhite:Day Two :bulletwhite:

:bulletyellow: Lure Coursing :bulletyellow:

The Lure Coursing event will be held on our 800 meter course in the field on the right side of the Arena. The event will begin at 11:00 AM, and we are not expecting snow this early in the day. The sky is still considerably grey and cloudy. There are a total of 5 turns, to better demonstrate the prey's movement and to add a bit of a challenge. The prey that the dogs will be chasing after will be in the form of a white and grey cloth to simulate a rabbit. The dogs will be provided with red, green, and white coursing vests and will compete 3 at a time to make it easier on our judges.

For the main entry, dogs need to be already running after the "prey", and need to clearly be wearing the coursing vest that is provided.

Extra Points/Pictures:
Story (Up to 3 points)- At least 300 words are needed and it needs to be on topic and describe the event.
Prey Capture-(Up to 3 points) At least a 3/4 body shot of the dog with the cloth caught.

:bulletorange: Racing :bulletorange:

The Racing event will be held on our Race Track that is on the left side of the Arena. The event will begin at 3:00 in the afternoon, and light flurries are to be expected. Our Race Track consists of a blacktop that is lined with red and red dividers splitting the lanes for the first 50 meters. All hounds will be provided with a red or green racing jacket with odd numbers in dark black and even numbers in a bright white. our Kennel Assistants will be clearing off the track 10 minutes before the race to get rid of any snow.

For the main entry, dogs need to be already running, not at the start or finish. They need to clearly be wearing their racing jackets.

Extra Points/Pictures:
Story (Up to 3 points) At least 300 words are needed and it needs to be on topic and describing the event.
Line Up (Up to 3 points) At least a 3/4 body shot of the dog lined up and ready in its lane.

:bulletpurple:Day Three:bulletpurple:

:bulletgreen: Agility :bulletgreen:

We are expecting it to be quite chilly today, so the Agility event will be held indoors in our Arena. The event will begin at 11:00 AM within our gymnasium. The course consists of the standard obstacles that would be found in a standard outdoor course. They are red, green, and white in color and sit upon a black padded surface. The hounds will be split into 3 height categories, Small (18 inches), Medium (22 inches), and Large (26 inches)

For the main entry, dogs need to be shown either jumping, balancing (seesaw or dog walk), running through a tunnel, or going through weave poles.

List of Obstacles:
A-frame
See-saw
Collapsible Tunnel
Pipe Tunnel
Tire Jump
Hurdles
Dog walk
12 set weave poles
Panel Jump
Pause table (Only for extra images)
Broad Jump
Triple Jump

Extra Points/Pictures:
Story (Up to 3 points) At least 300 words are needed and it needs to be on topic and describing the event.
Extra Obstacle: (Up to 5 points) A full body shot of the dog on another obstacle

:bulletred: :bulletgreen: Best Winter Outfit :bulletred: :bulletgreen:

The Best Winter Outfit is a festive costume contest, held in the same indoor arena as Conformation. The event will begin at 2PM, and the dogs will parade around the ring before stacking to show off their outfits. We're looking for the most memorable ones of the bunch, so designers - get your creative juices flowing! Thin black leads are not mandatory for this event, in the case of decorative collars and harnesses being part of the entrant's costume.

For the main entry, dogs need to be stacked or gaiting in their winter outfits.

Extra Points/Pictures Available:
Story(Up to 3 points)- At least 300 words are needed and it needs to be on topic and describe the event.
Handler (Up to 3 points)- Need to be able to see most of the handler.
